Major Lange Exhibition Opens at the Oakland Museum

On the 50th anniversary of Dorothea Lange’s gift of her personal archive to the Oakland Museum of California, a major exhibit of her work will open May 13, 2017. Approximately 100 photographs, including vintage prints, unedited proof sheets, personal memorabilia, and historic objects will be on view.

The exhibition, Dorothea Lange: Politics of Seeing, includes several clips from Grab a Hunk of Lighting and a full screening of the film is planned – we will keep you posted.
